Artist's
Statement:
Painting is an exciting
adventure into life around me. The subjects that peak my interest and
capture my heart are what you see in my paintings. I love the
contrast of darks and lights as they play against each other in the
values of the subject. The Light has over come the darkness in my life
when I trusted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. He has given me
forgiveness, love, freedom, peace, purpose and so much more. I am able
to be the person he created me to be and use the talents He has gifted
me with for His glory.

Island Garden Beauties
Beautiful gardens grace Monhegan Island. I was privileged to paint this scene in the privacy of an islanders yard. What a blessing from the Lord!

The flowers appear on the earth: The time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle-dove is heard in our land. Song of Solomon 2:12
God's
beauty is all around us. He invites us to open our hearts and our
minds to the truth of His creation of all of nature and all of us.
We are created in the image of God. We are very special, unique
and precious in His sight. He wants us to know Him and have peace and a
relationship with Him. Jesus Christ made that peace and relationship possible by taking our place on the cross to pay for our sin. Do you believe it? Romans 10:9-10 tells us the way to a relationship with God.
