I noticed a framed photo behind cracked glass at the home my Mom left to my brothers and I. It was a faded photo of the property and Webber Pond in Bremen, Maine. It was taken in the late 1970s from an airplane showing the Muscongus Bay in the background. I decided to paint it before the photo faded completely. While walking on the property, you don't realize how close to the ocean you are. You sense it more when the fog bank forms off shore and then moves in, rolling over the land mass across the pond and socking us in completely. It is a wonderful place of beauty and quiet to contemplate our great and awesome God.
