Frost on Holly was created using the wax-resist technique where the paper is waxed using a chunting tool in the places that I wanted the white paper to show. After the wax has set, I watercolor as usual. I have seen frost on the edges of Holly leaves in the winter and when I ironed the wax off it reminded me, thus it's title.
