Every year a pair of Pheobes build a mud nest under my mom's porch. They can be seen perched on her clothesline posts basking in the sun or searching for some breakfast treat. Roses grace the post with beauty which is a contrast to the dull browns of the Pheobe. Their heads are a ball of fuzz. It looks soft to the touch.
